About RISPA

RISPA has produced a variety of performances featuring performers from all departments of the School (ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, drama, voice, acting and musical theatre) and other performances n and around Alpharetta including the City of Alpharetta Tree Lighting Ceremonies, Alpharetta Children's Festival, Alpharetta Elementary International Night, Alpharetta Art Street Fest and Taste of Alpharetta. Our performers took part in Atlanta Hawks Prime-time shows and have performed in several professional videos. RISPA company members participate in our annual Holiday Variety show which includes acting, dancing and singing and takes place every December. RISPA company students also compete against student from all over the region in acting, voice and singing through a competition held each year in Buckhead out of New York called "Access Broadway". RISPA recently added a Theatrical Production division which puts on pre-professional level Broadway shows for the local community. The first production called "All Shook Up" was a huge success.

The School is owned and operated by Georgina Fox-Louchiey and Danny Louchiey; Georgina is an internationally known teacher (with more than 20 years of teaching experience) and performer who comes to Renaissance from London's famous Drury Lane (the British equivalent of New York's Broadway).  Georgina is a member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, specializing in Jazz and Tap and is an extraordinary director of choreography.  Danny has been active in the entertainment business for over 25 years working as a talent agent in Los Angeles before relocating to London where he produced and directed shows for the Drury Lane's "Talk of London" Dinner Theatre. The couple met in Drury Lane and founded other dance schools in London before returning to the USA in 2004 where they continue to use their many talents at RISPA.

RISPA offers a state of the art facility and many opportunities in the performing arts: a music department which includes lessons in piano, voice, violin, guitar; in addition to instruction in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Stepping and Modern Dance.  Adult classes are also offered in dance forms such as Ballroom, Salsa and Belly Dance, Jazz Fusion and Tap. For the younger dancers, enrichment classes such as Creative Movement, Pre-ballet and combination classes of Ballet/Tap and Ballet/Jazz are offered.  Summer programs in June and July feature workshops for all the departments for ages 3 up to teens and adult classes continue throughout the summer.  See Calendars and Schedule on this website for more information and a complete schedule.
